Full Version: Abandoned Carts Driving Me Crazy!

Especially in the last few days, since the software update, I have way more abandoned carts than checkouts. It's driving me nuts!!

I do everything I can to avoid cart abandonment: our shipping method, credit cards accepted, and even shipping charges are in the header of EVERY single page. I hate surprises when shopping and make sure my customers don't have to deal with them, either.

I even removed the registration part of checkout so nobody has to create a username and password, but the abandoned carts continue. We don't ship outside the US but our abandoned carts are seldom from foreign visitors (1 out of the last 9).

Has anyone heard from customers that they're having problems checking out since the software update? I ask because I got an anonymous email from someone saying "Your link for billing/shipping is broken.", but he didn't reply when I wrote back to him. Could have been a momentary glich on his or monstersmile.gif's end, 'cause I went through checkout myself and it seems fine.

It wouldn't make me so crazy if they never tried to check out, but 6 out of the last 9 got as far as 2 Step - Address & Options before disappearing. And no, I don't have any info so I can write to them to ask.

AAAAARRRRRGH!

Have you tried having your addtocart button redirect to the shopping cart, instead of the javascript popup?

It not just you, customer are going to the address page and then something bad is happenin to the checkout process. No customer complaints are calling in. THIS HAS TO BE FIXED ASAP! monstersmile.gif we need HELP!!!!!
