Hi Ken-
Sorry about that let me try again-
The page you are highlighting (your 3rd pic) is a "browse by category" page, which is a product "list view" of all the products assigned to the category. The "browse by manufacturer" page is a different page.
Does this help?
Brian
Brian,
I just wasn't sure what you meant. Yes, that helps clarify.
But what we
want that Manufacturer's Search to do is go to the Manufacturer's page where we have an overview of what that manufacturer offers. Or better, what we offer from that Manufacturer. Don't see the use of having a "Select Manufacturer" and having it go to page after page of just the products when we already have them displayed on another page by grouped/like items. In our mind, that is what the Catalog is for. (Which is a whole 'nother issue). So, I changed the list to make it do what we want. Now, when someone hits one of the Manufacturers, it goes to that Manufacturer and the customer can choose what line of product to go to from there. I just wasn't sure how to do that at first, and you kinda pointed me in the right direction. Yes, it's very similar to the Categories list; but it's what the shop owner wants. So I made it do it. Thanks for the jump start.
