I check the shopping cart daily to see activity and try to see if any information is given for the potential to contact a customer, etc.

I also notice that if a customer returns and make the purchase at another time the shopping cart vanishes. I think having the information on the actual order of when it was placed in the cart to when it was purchased would give some feedback to the purchase process of customers. Do they buy on the spot, do they need time to sort information, whatever the reason.

Some of our products require pictures to be sent to us other products require nothing more then payment. Any information can help make more sales.....just my thought.

I had another support ticket with similar request for Shopping Carts. I have added your suggestion to the submission to our QA department.


Another tip:

If you have any suggestion that you believe would make the MC software better you can submit a "My Suggestions"
1. log into MY.Monstercommerce.com
2. click on "My Suggestions"
or
you can also just submit a support ticket (click on "My Tickets")

Please be descriptive as possible, the more information we have about why this feature is important and what this feature will accomplish the better we can program this option.

This is a really great suggestion! For some sites it won't matter as much but for a lot of industries it would be very useful information. We can at least get a better idea of how long to keep our carts.

I would like to add one other date to this. It would help my staff if the record showed when we placed the order in the complete file. We save all our copies of orders by the day the are completed (shipped). If it's ordered after we have closed it won't go out until the next day or Monday if it's on the weekend. If it's delayed because of a bad credit card or out of stock situation it could be a week before it was completed. Currently we have no cross reference. No biggie ... just a suggestion.

I recently joined and seem to be attached to the Network Solution arm of things. How does one submit suggestions without being able to log into my.monstercommerce.com? I'd also prefer to send support tickets that way as well. When I submit SR requests thru NS, I tend to get "Here's a link to our manual" or "Please call us, we can't do this in a ticket."
