Hello All

We are trying to get our Commission Junction Tracking Pixel set up on our site. We put the code on the Order Confirmation Message and it is passing the values over to CJ. The problem is I am using the Message Variables Key [ST] - (The Order Subtotal on taxable goods before taxes) and it is showing the sale amount before any discounts. A lot of our affiliates have a 10% off discount code to give their customers. Is there another Message Variable I should use so my affiliates only get their commissions off what I am really charging on the sale?

An example is if we sell a bag for $100 and the 10% off coupon is used we are only getting $90 for the sale but CJ is getting information saying we are getting $100 for the sale. So the affiliate is getting credit for an extra 10 of sales that we did not have.

Also are there any other CJ users out there on MC?

I have been spending some time on this and i looked at how they have affiliate wiz set up.

For any of you using this it also sends the pre discount sale amount to the affiliate program. So be careful you are not spending extra on commissions.

I also have found there is a variable for the post discount price but MC will not release it.

The one thing we need is to be able to have a variable that is the total price of the sale that has any discounts taken off and no shipping added in.

We do not want to pay affiliates for the cost of shipping or the amount we have discounted an item.

Currently the only variables that MonsterCommerce has are [ST] and [TOTAL] for prices from the final cart. All other information is calculated on the database and ASP scripts and then is generated out to the page as HTML content.

I can submit this as a request to have this added and if this or other functions would be added QA will post here in the forums and on the knowledge base site.

Are you currently using the "Affiliate Wiz Software"? We are looking into this one because MC supports it but there are many others out there. Do you have any advise about the Affilite wiz?

I have been asking for a while. I do not know why they will not release the var. becuase it does exist.

MC - what do we have to do to get this?
