Full Version: Paypal Payments Pro Check This Out.

I have been with paypal for three years and just applied for the payments pro, my application was denied. I have had no problems ever with them.

I called and asked why and they said it is because I had open complaints from some customers who said they have not gotten there stuff.

Its funny because I sell 1000+ items per month so I always have someone who trys to file a paypal claim.

Its like I am being punished for selling alot of stuff, and why would this matter anyway. I give them the tracking number or they get there money back. Case closed.

Has anyone here applied what should I do?

I think I might have to have my wife join and sign up, it would probally be easier for her, since she does not even have an account?

Then they told me I had to wait three months to try again, can you belive this?

If you are interested in accepting checks, I can certainly help. Feel free to contact me at DKapustin@tampabay.rr.com or Debra@global-processing.com.

Thanks!

Yes, I have heard of that before. It's unfortunate but it happens quite often. Pay Pal Payments Pro, is a merchant account so it might be wise to shop around and look for a new merchant account provider or processor. Make sure the merchant account provider you pick, has a reputation of working with the merchant and helping that merchant grow and will not hinder them from doing increased sales volume. Believe it or not, that's a problem too. Also, find out what kind of chargeback performance the processor has. Meaning, what percentage or turnaround on chargebacks do they have before a merchant get's involved. Also, make sure the merchant account provider you work with isn't a broker and working out of their basement. You want to go direct and good service and being able to get a hold of someone right away is key for a growing merchant.

I hope this helps.

Let me know if I can help you in any other way,
Julie

You aren't missing a thing! We signed up for the payments pro on the 28th, got notice this morning that we were approved. Went to change our settings from Paypal Standard to Express Payment. Do you know that MC has a Huge "Pay with Paypal" button on the address checkout page that gives the impression that you use paypal as your lone payment method. When the customer clicks on it, it goes to paypal so they can login, then supposedly comes back to your cart. We have Linkpoint as our Gateway, works great! Never a problem (knock on wood)

The whole reason for doing the pro selection was that the standard selectioin always gets orders without payments, confuses the customers, etc. . . Am ready to drop em, but the boss, believes we should be offering choices to our customers. Thinking about "accidently" deleting it, and seeing if he or any customer will ever notice, when he does . . .

If you have another gateway, stayaway from Paypal Pro, If you are looking for a gateway, Paypal Pro seems like a legit candidate.

With monstersmile.gif merchant account, all funds are directly deposited into the bank account of your choice in approximately 48 hours from batch settlement. You can either have your discount rate taken out at the end of the month. Or, you can have the discount rate taken out from each batch.

Let me know if you need any help with anything,
