I'm trying to minimize the number of clicks it takes to purchase any one item. In order to do this, I am trying to display what I can in the product listing...

If I have a single column product list, and each product has 1 variant group (so 1 drop down),
is there a way for me to display the product description, variant drop down, and "buy" button?

Ok, so I just called the customer service line and it looks like there is a very simple answer to this.
And the answer is ... no. Any time there is a variant group assigned to a product, you have to go into the detail view to get the variant selection and buy button.
