This question may have been asked before, but I missed the answer. But where do I go to find out about other states required taxes for e-commerce businesses? For selling and shipping to other states?

The consensus around here is, if you do not have a physical presence in an out of state, then you don't collect sales taxes for that state.

Well, it's not really a consensus. It's tax law. Current sales tax law does not allow for other states to force you to collect taxes on their behalf. You only have to collect sales taxes in the state that you have a nexus (or presence) in and those tax laws vary from state to state. Some states require you to collect sales taxes for them if your dropshipper is in that state (California comes to mind).
