is there any way to interact with the database besides usuing dataport... i am wanting to download customer orders everyhour without having to use dataport and manually doing it!

also i am wanting to change discount codes randomly is there any way that i can accomplish this?

Hi Danny,

Currently there is not a way to have access to the DB information due to many security reasons for the sites software. How ever, you can use DP to meet most of your needs, unfortunately though you would not be able to update discount codes at this time with Dataport. I will log this request though to see if it can be added in the future. What you might want to look into though is an automation tool for windows, software like this could let you set up a standard process for importing your orders once every hour.
