I used DP5 to successfully create the XML file to bulk upload my products to Google Base. My Merchant dashboard in GB shows that I was successful in uploading over 6628 items with 0 errors yet when viewing my "active items" list it shows exactly 3000 items. When it was Froogle I always had over 6000 items listed. I looked all over the Help files in Google Base and never saw that there was a limit of 3000 items.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a maximun of 3000 items for GB?

Hi Danilyn,

The limits for GoogleBase according to our quickguide are either 300,000 products, or 10MB file size, which ever happens first. If I had to guess the file size is probably right around 10 MB. You can also find out more about limits and what the fields are for GB feeds at:

My entire file with all 6000 products was less than 10 MB and the feed was accepted complete but only 3000 show up in the dashboard however I now see that all 6000 are coming up when viewing all products by me so it must be something that is weird about the dashboard.

Good news is that DP5 worked perfectly. I did not change anything from the file that was created!
