Interesting link. This is the terms of service for the new Google payment system. Note the lack of international buyers allowed.....

These links point to accepting payments through Google Base for uploaded products. I wonder if it's just a separate "arm" of what I think monstersmile.gif will have. Hmmm...so let's see, Google allows you to upload your products free. You can also post free classifieds, like a Craig's list. When you want MONEY for the items, you go through Google base and their payments system.

Could be interesting.

I dont know, Google is starting to have their hands in too many things at once. If they can keep it all straight then it should be ok, but if not then they are in for a world of hurt.

If it drives business to our sites without the additional PPC then 2.5% is a bargain. I won't hold my breath.

hope this helps clarify some questions. sounds interesting... but google might be becoming too much of a monstersmile.gif (pun unintended)...

i love it, personally.. but i can't see this replacing paypal.

(*L* i'll probably be made to eat my words in a few years.. but i remain apprehensive. i'd still use it as an option for our customers.. imo the easier it is for them to give us their money, the better.. how many times have you returned to a store that didn't use a payment method you preferred?)
