I know how to do free shipping based on weight %..but how can i do it based on the amount the purchased?

Hi Bill,
You would need to set up a custom shipping option for this, and on that custom shipping option select the check box that says 'By Price'. When you check that box, the shipping method will then change and the edit button will then say 'Edit Prices' instead of 'Edit Weights'. When you press that edit button, you can then enter in price ranges and the cost of that price range. So say you want all orders between $100-$200 to be free. You would set your low range to 100, high to 200, and cost to 0.
