It's one of the best things you could have done! Its great being able to easily and openly converse with other store owners using the same system.
Not only do we provide some assistance based on our experience but we also get to discuss different ways to do things. I enjoy being able discuss suggestions and ideas for possible future upgrades.
The forum has also encouraged me to sign up for a second store (which I've done) and also purchase Monsterbooks (which I plan to do soon).
Guess it's a win-win!
Thanks!

In my opinion this discussion board should have been implemented a long time ago. Its Great! I like that fact that I can put in my two cents and be able to get suggestions from other store owners as well.

HIGH SPEED does it for me!

I agree. The forum has been running slowly for me as well. We are hosting the forum with the company who provides the software.
I have submitted a trouble ticket... so we'll see how responsive they are. Please keep me posted as to the speed you experience.
We'll get it worked out sooner than later!

One more vote for the slow boards, I've got DSL and visit many other boards that have several thousand members and hundreds logged at once. But this one seems to be slower than most.
If I'm not mistaken my PHP/MySQL server produces a query faster that Acces and SQL. Not sure what you guys are using, and it could be anything causing the delay. Oh well, hope you find the bottleneck.

Captain, I appreciate the board (even though it is slow)! When you talk to the people who wrote the software, ask them why I get a "flood control" error often when I click on "View New Posts."
Perhaps we could add a section on "How Did You Do That" where people can share their cool solutions to problems and innovations.
We also need a place where people can report their desire to exchange links with other stores operating within related fields. Perhaps that section could be organized topically.

Many times I get hit with the flood control warnings also
BUT I understand it's just because I'm too damn fast and need to learn to slow down

Thanks for the heads up... I haven't gotten a flood control warning before. I will call support and find out the issues. Please report other errors / issues you receive. We'll get them worked out.

I really like it. When I first signed up, I emailed tech support at least twice per week. The last couple of questions I've had, I got answered here in the forum.
I like being able to get comments/feedback/answers from other users of the system.

I found a small font issue...
Use My Assistant and search for My Last 10 Posts. In the title bar of each post you'll see the word "Topic" with a colon, but nothing after the colon. Now mouse over - presto - you'll see the topic title appear.
I think the display font is set to the same color as the background, while the mouseover color is different.

The forum is working great. I regularly visit to see what other store owners are doing and how. Greatly appreciated.
One suggestion. We should have a

MALL where all the stores will be listed. This will contribute to greater sales of business.

I think the forum should have been here all along. I find answers to questions I didn't even know I didn't know!
I'm on cable and do find it terribly slow but still a great thing.

How about a "How do I....." section. I know we can always call/write Tech Support, or - dare I say it - read the manual

But why bother Tech Support with the little things that MC vets know how to do. Then they can concentrate on bigger issues.
Besdies, sometimes the users come up with creative ways to do things that aren't in the manual.
