I am guessing that when we set up the font colors for our left- and right-side links we are creating a style that is hidden somewhere. If so, does it have a name we can use in other parts of our site for consistency.

This is what I have in mind: I would like all the links in the site to behave as my left side links do (blue font, red on hover, and especially red on hover even after the link has been visited). Is there a style name I can call upon to accomplish this?

There is a CUSTOM.CSS you can download with the filemanager edit this file by adding style classes. Then you can reference these classes anywhere in your custom html as well. Also you may over ride the original classes in the style.css
