Yes, but I don't know how to do it because I don't use it. But, there are several merchants that wholesale and only want approved retailers able to see products and/or prices.

PK,

Good morning... I should have explained a little further. It is not related to my products or pricing. It would be a members only area kind of thing. Perks for the customers who have registered, photo galleries, etc.

Thanks

Hi Doug-

The cart software can restrict access to the entire cart, but not individual areas. I think the best way to accomplish this would be to host the members only area on a regular hosting server, or a second MonsterCommerce site that you could then set to require a login. We could easily point a subdomain to either option. The standard hosting would be a good option if you would have higher bandwidth content on your hosting site as well.

Thanks

Why don't you incorporate a message board on a sub domain for something like this. You can set it up that people have to register and get approved first or whatever you wanted to do. It would be really expensive to have MC host a site like this without a need for cart.

You could probably create a custom page and use a password on it to access another custom page with links to your restricted area. Only have the links availble on the custom page that is accessed after entering the password. I don't think MonsterCommerce has a password feature but if you do a search on Google you can find tutorials on how to do this.
