Can someone please direct me to the location of the products that can not be sold through MC? I am having a hard time finding this.

Thanks!

Umm, considering they have stores that sell adult products and tobacco, I'd say they allow anything that is legal.

There is a fine line there and I think you should direct your questions to the MC Sales and/or support team. I do know that they have some restrictions and if you carry certain items that will not let you in the monstersmile.gif Marketplace.

There are quite a few things that will keep you out of the marketplace, but I thought the question was whether or not there were items that MC wouldn't allow you to build a store for. Considering I've seen an MC store built for gay male adult products with extremely vulgar language throughout the descriptions, I can't think of anything that you can't build a store around...unless, as I've said, it's illegal. I'm quite certain they won't allow you to sell marijuana from an MC store. laugh.gif

No? Damn! What am I gonna do with my crop now??! Guess I'm gonna need ALOT of Doritos...lol.

Seriously though, I think PK is right. If the product is legal... you can sell it. thumbsup.gif

OK I am curious as to what product you are considering that you think monstersmile.gif might not let you sell.

You are free to sell whatever you want so long as it is legal to sell 'online' in the United States.

The Marketplace does not include adult sites featuring adult products at this time. Hope this helps. beer.gif

Sorry for just now posting to this. I did ask this question to the sales department and they said I could sell just about anything. They knew exactly what I was asking. Yes, Adult toys...however, based on what I have read I don't think I could be featured in the monstersmile.gif Marketplace with it though.

Thanks for answering my questions. I don't know if anyone else in the forum sells these or not. It would be great to be the only one and if I could still be in the marketplace.

Thanks for responding.

There are a couple of merchants that sell adult products and have popped into the forums. You would not be able to get into the marketplace with that product line.

Funny you should mention that. Have you noticed how many places are making a killing on that merchandise? I wonder what they're going to do after 2008.

pick on whoever's in office then.

one sure shot in politics: there is always someone to hate.

And there's always people to sell that hate to.
