Good news, I just sold my business and am getting it up and running for the new owners. More good news, they want to stick with
commerce. Bad news, only if we can easily integrate visual help into the product selections. Basically, they manufacture a custom product that is custom ordered on an individual basis. The matrix makes this nice and easy to compute for the customer, except many customers are not familiar with industry names for the parts and adapters they need. How easy/hard would it be to use the matrix to power check boxes under each option? Say, instead of a dropdown box that has 1, 2, and 3 options; have 3 small pictures side by side with a check box under each one, and checking one of the boxes updates the price same as the drop-down boxes would. That possible?
Option 2 would be to insert the small 3 pictures in between each drop-down item, except the drop down boxes seem to automatically insert themselves at the bottom of the page. Is there any way to edit the way they are inserted so that a picture containing the options could sit above each drop-down box?
Lastly, figure there are 6 to 8 options for each product.
Thanks for any/all help and input, I'm not that familiar with programming the in's and out's of making this work, and they'd rather stick with MC then have to research other programs and start from scratch. Thanks guys!
