I'm applying for a SBA backed business loan. I'm going to use the loan to ad a feed store to my ranch. Here's where I get stuck: I can't find the contact information for ANY distributors. I was able to find a few places I can buy pet supplies and Purina food at wholesale. What I really need is horse and livestock supplies: leads and halters, buckets and feeders, supplements, stock tanks, ect.
I've looked up brand names and item names. For example, DuraFlex sells rubber buckets and feeders, so I look up an item or the brand name. I can't find a phone number, a website, anything. I can find wholesale distribution of Duraflex watches and water measuring systems but...obviously that's been useless.
There are two companies who offer halters and leads that I've attempted to look into-Hamilton and Kensington. I've gotten even less results in those attempts.
The only resources I have been able to find are companies-for example "King's Wholesale" that sells retail but advertises wholesale. What that company offers is multiple brands at varrying sales prices, I can't rely on that though.
Even before internet store owners were able to find distribution companies and have letters of intent from those distributors. So, if there's some method I just have not been introduced to, please, help me out. -I'm sorry if I sound frustrated in my post, I am. Thanks for any and all help you provide!!-Amanda at A Place In The Country

It sometimes helps to contact the manufacturers directly.
