Full Version: Making A Good Product Layout Page Without Apd
MonsterSmallBusiness Forums > MonsterWebDesign > Design Aspects

Hey Everyone!

I'm getting my site running, but was of course dissapointed with the default layout of products, especially in a category view.

To bipass that, I created my own category page of sorts that links products to an individual order page for each.

Any improvement ideas?

Is there a snipet of code that will allow a specific item to be added to the cart?

What's the deal with Advanced Product Designer? Is it coming back ever?

Thank you!

Hey hedgehog...
Doubt it. It was only available to those in the (now doa) VIP section. monstersmile.gif has made it pretty clear that it will no longer be provided...and they've referenced the functionality as being valid "for now."
I have it installed but have not used it...have to wonder about those that have--if it will be taken away and custom set ups will revert to the original default? Only time will tell.
Im confident that you wont see this available again.

We used it for our handbag site, so I hope it won't revert!

Whether it was something that is light years away, or something that should be arriving soon, I'm sure I saw a brief discussion of a replacement of this feature mentioned in a previous post.

Hey smckenzie.
Would be nice...doubt you'll see this happen.
