Anyone else getting anything??

No new data here either since the 15th. The status reads "Waiting for Data".

It's getting a little frustrating. blinking.gif

I'm seeing data up until Friday, 11/18 (yesterday) for both of your sites right now. Can you verify that this is still happening for you? If it continues, place a ticket and our techs should be able to take care of it.

I haven't had an stats since 10/17 (when my site got updated) I know I should've filled out a ticket but been busy doing a hundred other things and it keeps getting pushed down on my list blinking.gif

Yep, the stats are there now through 11/18. They were not there a few hours ago. There must be some kind of delay so that it dumps data in at certain times of the day. Just to be clear...I am looking at the google analytics.

Thanks gang for updating this thread on this topic. I too have been monitoring the stats and how up to date they are. I've been getting excited when I see them only a few hours behind but then they get behind again.

I'm assuming a couple different things could be attributed to this, not the least of which being that this Google Analytics is new and free and everyone and their grandma is adding it to their website/blog/homepage. I'm just as annoyed by the delays but also excited about the new features and direction this initiative by Google is going to take things. I'm still urging patience at this point as we (MonsterCommerce) is getting our questions answered by Google.

Just so everyone is aware, I have tested this system with a separate website that is not ecommerce and is hosted outside the MC network and the same sort of delays are common.

In case you missed it, here is the main thread about Google Analytics at the moment.

The newest information is that for those clients that were formerly paying for Urchin On Demand, this is no longer going to be charged. Using the same username and password as before, you should be able to log into the new account at -
http://www.google.com/analytics
There are still a lot of other questions (see thread) but we are working on them and should have it worked out soon. Thanks!

Thanks James...for keeping everyone updated.

What about the robots stats that we had with urchin 5, will we no longer receive this info?
ArcoJedi
I have noted that Google Analytics does not seem to specifically note or log 'robots' information like Urchin 5 did.

In summary, Google Analytics is good for tracking ROI and the effectiveness of ad campaigns but low on the nitty-gritty details (I'm a stats hound, the more detail the better).

Urchin 5 gives a lot of information, including query strings, robots, navigation and so forth, but is not easy to use and does not give a good overview.

For the time being MonsterCommerce is not dropping Urchin 5, largely for this reason. I think a combination of the two systems will cover the largest overview of client needs.

There are a lot of other threads about Google Analytics as I've mentioned, and I am updating a few of them today. Thanks!

I agree. Urchin 5 is better for the really important stats. I can't find an easy way of checking the search terms with Urchin 6. About 80% of my customers tell me where they found me so the ROI stats isn't all that important for me. MC please keep Urchin 5.

I'm still not getting any stats from urchin from today going back to October... on either of my sites?

any ideas?

Hello Drew,

As stated above, you are most likely logging into the wrong place if your stats stop in October. That is when Urchin On Demand became Google Analytics.

Please go to -
http://www.google.com/analytics/
- and use the same login/password and you should be able to get your recent information. If this does not work for you, please place a ticket or call and a tech support representative will be happy to help you.
