Google released a new FREE analytics software today -- http://www.google.com/analytics/

However, it requires you to add a small java code in the "head" section of your home page.

Do we even have this ability? If so, how?

Thank you in advance!

That worked. Thanks!

I believe that monstersmile.gif should create an entry on all of our pages for a custom.js, just like we have custom.css. That way, anytime that we want to add JavaScript to our site, we just edit the custom.js file instead of putting the code in the top or bottom of page.

I have tried to get the Google Analitics to work and inserted the code but no stats will show. Here is the thread from what monstersmile.gif said about this http://forums.monstersmallbusiness.com/ind...topic=13057&hl=
If you were not using Urchin 6 Google Analitics will not work at this time, is the basic jist of it.

Here is the best thread for questions about Google Analytics. At this point, it looks like we are still waiting for more information from Google/Urchin as the best method for moving forward. Obviously, clients who had and were paying for Urchin On Demand are a priority, but it does appear that this may be available for everyone.
