How can I use a discount code when I want the link to go somewhere besides the main page.

For example, if I want this page to be the landing page, how can I insert the discount code of G1?

How is the discount code given to customers? Through email or advertisement?
You can choose from two different ways of using discount codes - Cookies and Manual Typing - I don't see why both wouldn't work for your use.
Cookies are automatically saved on the customers computer until checkout and applied.
Manual Typing makes the customer type in the discount code at checkout to get the discount.
Seems to me that would work.
In your admin section click "Inventory" than "Discount Code Editor" than enter in your discount below and choose from "Can Be Entered" or "Can Be Cookie" or I believe you can choose both. If you choose cookie than it will give you a code to enter in to your links you provide customers.
Hope it works for you

Strap,

I figured out the syntax for the discount code. The reason that I am using the discount code it to track my PPC marketing. I am using the discount code G15 for the link

The problem I am having now is that when I do a test order the discount code does not populate when I search for the order. I put in a helpdesk tag for some assistance.

I have both cookies and "can be entered" selected for each of my discount codes.

Troy-

I see your new ticket in there.

We will work to resolve as soon as possible.

If you are using the cookie in that manner, you only need to check the "can be cookie" entry, unless you want the ability to enter it as well. Thanks!
