Ok Im going to try and ask this again, because I no it can be done. I want one site with 2 looks, each look selling differnt products. Please dont say I need 2 differnt sites.

I own a laser engraving company that caters to a small market. We want to cover two vary different market areas under one company. What we would like....

We would like to have the start page a cover page under Xport1.com. From that page the customer can choose either section 1 or section 2 (section 1 being Computer modding and Section 2 being Laser engraved stone). Now sense we can have custom pages we would like to have each section have a different look. If at all possable it would be nice to have the site address say where you are on the site. IE...xport1.com/section1.htm or xport1.com/section2.htm, somthing along those lines but its not a 100% needed. Now when I say differnt looks Im talking about a different looking templates. Im hoping with ver 4 we can do this. Please let me know what kind of options there are without having to spend double for the same site. Thanks Xport1

Hi,

As far as having two sections, this is no problem. You would have to develop a custom index.html site and like you said creatively design two buttons are two signs that say go to this , and one that says go to that. maybe they can be subdomains. section1.x1sport.com and section2.x1sport.com.

Here is the problem.....You cannot develop two different looking stores as far as headers, etc w/o having two stores.....However... You can develop different looking custom page for each different section to go to our you would have to post your products on a seperate page and have them post to your store with an ADDTOCART button or function.

May talk to John Larson at monstersmile.gif...monstersmile.gif can pratically do anything if it is capable within the software.
