Full Version: Pay With Paypal Account

I had a customer contact me about this.

She choose to pay by paypal because she wanted to pay by echeck. However when you choose paypal as an option to pay you are taken to your paypal account however the only way to pay is by credit card. Many people like using paypal because they have money in their account or like to pay by their bank account.

Am I missing something? Is this still possible?

Hi

Yes this is possable, but your customer is absolutely right, the link takes you to pay via credit/debit card.

However they can click send money and as long as they have it in there account i believe they can do it that way.

I too wanted to use paypal but got stumped by this, i am looking at adding NOCHEQUES to our payments as we have customers screaming at us to use this feature.

I just placed a test order and logged into my personal paypal account and can pay with e-check. It defaults to my credit card, but all you have to do is click on the 'more funding options' link. Then you can select an e-check.

However, I placed another test order and pretended I didn't have a paypal account. There you must use a credit card. Which actually makes sense because unless you set up your paypal account, add your banking information and have it verified, you shouldn't be able to send an e-check.
