Is there a way to give an existing .com a new web address and still use the existing storefont? Say I have abc.com already setup as an empty store with

and I want to register it as xyz.com and use the storefront already in place at abc.com, can I do that? Many thanks in advance and enjoy the weekend!

If I'm understanding you correctly, you can absolutely do that. It is just a DNS change. If you haven't done so already, go ahead and purchase the domain name and file a ticket with MC team and we'll take care of you!

you do want to be careful, it is extremely hard to get new domain names to rank at all in google. Expect to wait 6-12 months for any real rankings. It just depends what your working with now and how important search engine traffic is to your business model.

Well for us its like being locked in a google cave at page rank 1 .....so im not sure if the risk is worth it at this stage of the game for us.
