Full Version: Authorize.Net and My Broken Buy Button
MonsterSmallBusiness Forums > MonsterCommerce > Merchant Accounts

I just entered a technical assistance request but wonder if any of you have had this problem. I just entered my authorize.net login and password information. When I went to the store to test it (after logging out) I found that any time I hit a "Buy" button I got the results of a strange search. I also notice that now I get an "Error on Page" message on the status bar of every page.

Any suggestions? We hope to get this site turned on soon!

Interesting result. Turns out that my Top Of Page HTML was screwing everything up! I put the Search code in the header (it worked perfectly well), but everytime I hit the Buy button the code was somehow activated. Problem went away when I deleted the Search code.

Getting this first store going has been a real pain...but a real learning experience, too! I'm grateful that the Tech people at monstersmile.gif are so prompt, professional, and competent.

Yeah, I had a bit of trouble getting the search to work in my header and look the way I wanted it to. Alot of trial and error, just be sure to keep copies of your custom html in a .txt file or something incase you screw something up later. I say this from experience smile.gif
