I have been visting some stores and looking how the shopping cart works.

How do I determine the version # that they are running?

An easy way to tell is to look at the QTY box, if you have increase & decrease buttons to raise and lower the amount, the store is 4.0. If it is just a box that you must enter the QTY. it is 3.1

If they have a mailing list, click in the box, if the text automatically erases they are on v4.0.


Also if they have a cart other then right side cart they are on v4.0.

Actually, to find out the full version, including patches just type version.txt after the domain name...

Ultimate is right, there was a .txt file.

In tommorows patch you will be able to visit:

www.yourdomain.com/version.html which will give u your Stores Version along with a link to the HotFix Section here in the forums.

I tend to find the 'unannounced' features on my own.
