I'm trying to list some products to my store but I have the same product in different colour and sizes and teh price si different for each of them so my questions is. How can I create a droplist selection where I would just list one product to the store and then they could use the drop down menu to select the colour and the size that they would like and the price would change. I hope somebody will understand what I mean but to make it easier I found a soter that uses monstercommerce and they have done it so here is the link.

See how they show the price as $0.01 and then there is a drop down menu where you can select what you want and then the price changes and you can then clik on ADD TO CART and that product that you selected from the drop down menu is added to the cart.
Please let me know if anybody knows how to do it.

I don't think that you have to use advanced variants. Just regular ones will do. Set up the main cost of the item as the lowest price of all the different colors. Then, add a variant with each one of the colors with a surcharge of the difference between how much that product costs and the lowest price:
T-shirt Example:
Blue - $10
Red - $15
Green - $20
- Call the product T-shirts
- Set up the part number as xxx-
- Set up a base price, in this example it would be $10
- Add your variants
----1 Name your variant group
----2 Set up the first variant as "None", No surcharge, No part number Ext, sort order 0
----3 Name your first product, in this case Blue T-shirt
----4 Set the surcharge up as 0
----5 Set part number extension as the part number of the blue t-shirt ex:blue
----6 Set the Sort Order to 1
----7 Start again at #3 and go through #6 for each other color. The surcharge for red will be $5 and green will be $20
When someone orders, say your green shirt, your order will say "T-Shirt- Green T-shirt" and the part number would look something like xxx-green.
