I'm just about to outgrow the monstersmile.gif newsletter service. How has your experience been with intellicontact or vertical response for your e-mail newsletter lists?

I'd like to be able to segment my newsletter suscribers into retail, wholesale, and more specific groups.

I assume this can be done with a custom form page that links to these services?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thank you
Kman
I use intellicontact and I don't have any complaints. You have a lot of options and great reporting. I can't comment on vertical response though.

I have griped about Intellicontact in the past, but they have made a lot of improvements. I will continue to use them.

Hi Everyone!

One benefit to Intellicontact is that MonsterCommerce clients get a 15% discount. You can find more information here. If you have any questions, please let us know. Thanks BrianR

I use Intellicontact and find them great. They continually make improvements. It is easy to use and you can now offer segmentation of your lists.

The few times I have had to call tech support they have been all over it and either showed me what I needed to see or fixed my problem.

I would add that this seems to be a very small company that really wants to get things right. They respond promptly to problems and seem to encourage suggestions. We just sent out a newsletter last week and had none of the earlier problems we experienced with their system.

I have recently starting using Vertical Response.

It is working well for me, because it is a true "pay as you go" system - there are no monthly fees.

Due to the nature of our business, we only send out less than 10 emails per year - so this is an excellent set-up for us.

Also, their email list import and management works very well. Of course, keep in mind that I have nothing else to compare their services to, since we have not used anyone else.

I'm using MailUp Net since one year, it's better for us because we send a larger amount of emails (from 9000 to 45000 per month), and they have a nice pricing: only a flat monthtly fee which allow us to send even 200,000 emails per month without paying more.
