Pay-per-click is a great concept, if there weren't ways to screw the advertiser and game the system.

The PPA (pay-per-action) idea is not unlike affiliate marketing, when you pay a commision when a click thru leads to a purchase. I'd give that appraoch a try. I'll never waste another dime on a PPC campaign, though.

We will soon try a traditional print ad campaign. The old advertising methods still hold promise.

Good idea, Robert. Every business that is or is not entirely online should consider the benefits of OFFline -- more traditional -- forms of advertising. Even GOOGLE themselves are getting into the Print advertising business.

I saw that Google is becoming a reseller of space. Like Yahoo, they are transforming themselves into an advertising/media company.
