Full Version: Price Markup Feature.

Ok, here is a good one for some of you "old timers" from this "newbie" wacko.gif

I have entered a percentage in my category, sub-category and even the sub-sub category for an item. When I create a new inventory item and select the pirce markup option I initally try to leave the customers price blank. Well....as soon as I click on the "ADD" button it just fills this in with a zero price. If I do not manually enter a price in this field (with the percentage marked down) then it displays to the user at a zero cost.

Any suggestions??

Thanks!

Hi Todd-

What you can do is go into the advanced options tab of the product, and click the "Price too low to show" checkbox. Put in a 0 discount, and then put a space in the text box to the right. This will show no price to the customer until they have clicked on add.

Hope this helps! biggrin.gif

The only problem that I have with that is that I do want customers to be able to see the actual purchasing price. It is just misleading in the documentation because it makes it sound that when using the percentages we can display that calculated price to the customer when they are viewing the products screens.
