OK - Here's a coupon offer for MonsterCommerce Forum members:

Purchase the Order Manager with a year of support and updates (regular price $1,250) and get a $100 discount!

This offer is valid thru July 4th, 2005.

To purchase, go to: http://www.stoneedge.com/orderpage.htm

At the checkout page, enter the coupon code MCForum1 to get your $100 discount.

(Sorry that it's not a MonsterCommerce shopping cart. We support about a dozen shopping cart systems, and we picked one for our own store before we started working with MC.)

Hi Troy,
I'm looking into this application also. Thanks for wrangling the discount whip.gif Are you going to use this to combine all your website orders into one place? That's what I'm looking for. Any thoughts?

I already have, I bought the Amazon module first and then once I saw how much trouble it saved me, I got the monstersmile.gif module. Once I start getting orders from Altura, then I am adding that module also.

It has literally saved my sanity to a point. All of my orders are drop shipped, and each order took me an average of 5 minutes to deal with from beginning to end. Now I have cut that down to probrably 1 minute per order.

Also my customer service improved since now I can coordinate each tracking and survey email into 1 application for all of my sales channels.

As far as remote administration goes, while the program is MS Access based, I use LogMeIn.com for free and just remotely connect to my home machine from my full time job. There is a little time delay compared to actually being on that computer, but I find the freedom to be able to process orders remotely so much easier and definitely an option.

Hi Troy,

Ive been wanting something to allow us to quickly and easily work with our Amazon seller account. Is this a solution. Does it offer upload features or is it just a method of working with order processing?

Thanks for any input.

From what I understand it can upload to Amazon, but you need to purchase the WrinkleBrain interface. I haven't done so yet, because I don't need it yet, but I will purchase it in the future.

Thanks for the tips. BTW, What's Altura?

Here's a bit more detail:

The Stone Edge Order Manager is compatible with 3 Amazon systems: ZShops, Marketplace and Sellers Central. I'm not sure if the first 2 are in use anymore - I do know that Sellers Central is where all of the Amazon action seems to be now.

Amazon has two ways of feeding orders to Sellers Central merchants: standard csv text files and an automated "SOAP" system. The Order Manager can handle the csv files directly. For SOAP (XML) users, we require a third-party program called WASH (for "Wrinklebrain Amazon SOAP Handler" - really!).

The Order Manager does not currently feed product data to Amazon. Those of you who have tried it know that Amazon's system of classifying products is extremely complex. If they ever make it more reasonable, we would be glad to support it, as we do now with Froogle and Altura (Shop.com) feeds.

Altura, for those not familiar with it, is a system that feeds your products into a large number of search engines and sales channels where they are presented essentially in their own shopping cart, so it requires very little work on the merchant's part. The Order Manager can both feed product info and import orders from Altura.

As with all of the shopping carts and sales channels that we support, you can choose whether to keep sales from each one separate or combine them so they share the same inventory, etc., but still keep each one's company identity for use in emails and on invoice, packing slips, etc.

If anyone needs more info on any of these topics, please feel free to give us a call.
