I did this header but when I add text it goes all fuzzy (I'm sooooo frustrated!!). bash.gif

Would someone mind adding the following text to it for me (in the white space)???? Pretty please?? Here's the text I need followed by my suggestions....

1. Free Shipping within Continental US
(black, arial, bold, drop shadow or raised emboss)

2. Toll Free 1-866-490-5226
(black, arial, bold, drop shadow or emboss)

3. LIGHTING THE WAY
(slight motion trail (180 degrees) black, arial, bold, all caps, drop or emboss)

4. for the rest to follow.
(placed under and to the left of "lighting the way", red font, arial, bold, drop or emboss)

Of course the size of the text should be in proportion to the header but the text can be arranged anyway it looks good. Also if you know a way to make it better than above.... go hard.

EDIT: I know it's alot to ask which is why I'll ship whoever does this for me a free set of Xenon headlight bulbs (within US). wink.gif

I did notice your truck pic tho is a little pixelated, Is the original like that?
crashingflwrgrl
Unfortunately the truck pic was like that to begin with.

I'm liking the look so far! The motion trail needs to be straight not sloped downwards like it is and the trail itself needs to be "lighter" in color. Also there needs to be a "period" after "for the rest to follow".

Just get the "free shipping" part in there and arrange it so it looks all purdy and we're all set. clap.gif

Oh man - did I miss all the fun! mad.gif man - I had to work late (reports, reports, and more reports - I tell you what, these crazy people - just because someone pays $50,000 for something they expect to see quality reports whistling.gif )

I took a stab at it anyways - way too big though (file size - it would have to be compressed a bit more to be worth using, but here it is anyways.

Nice one Eddie. Thanks for giving it a go. wink.gif

I think krazy's got it right though. The one Jayson posted is very eye catching and I've decided to use it. Thanks Jayson! clap.gif

PM me your address and make, model and year of your vehicle and I'll have those bulbs shipped out asap.

Crashing, you might want to try slicing Jayson's banner into two pieces. For example, slice it straight down from the edge of reflection/shadow of the "L" in Lighting. This way you could adjust the compression for each piece and make the graphic "weigh" less. If you compress the entire banner to make it smaller (and I think you might want to do that, its quite large) the text won't look very sharp. Once you have two seperate graphics, compress each one to the smallest size that still looks good. Of course, you will also have to code the banner as two separate graphics but that's simple enough.

Nice job Jayson!

Yahooooo!! Hey guys - that was fun! ;)
crashingflwrgrl
Nice suggestion I'll add it to my list....lol

The banner is now in place and I'm quite pleased with it. What do you all think?

Check it out here

Jayson check your PM's. thumbsup.gif

ooh - You shouldn't do %'s on images - I can split uo the banner so it has the track on one image, the words on another, so the truck can be left justified, and the tect right justified - so when the screen is stretched the images will stick the the sides leaving some white space in the middle - no stretching thumbsup.gif

Just a quick tip on fuzzy text on the Web for the future ....

Photoshop and Illustrator (I don't know about other image editing or drawing programs) give you the ability to choose whether or not you want your text to be "anti-aliased" or not. This may or may not be the problem, but it never hurts to see what happens when you check or uncheck this option. Also, some fonts just never look good on screen. Some of my favorite print fonts work well at 10 or 12 points for printing, but pushing them any bigger makes them look awful, because of ligatures, serifs and other font stuff that makes my head reel and keeps companies like Linotype in the black. happy.gif

Nice job thumbsup.gif The stretching doesn't work so if that can be fixed, you're all set.
