Hi Everyone,

I have been trying out the ClickTracks Optimizer Hosted product and comparing it to my current Google Analytics setup.

I really like the Search Report/keyword analysis by seach engine and the Navigation Report/overlay reports (click stats on top of the web page). I am still playing with the labels feature to see if I can make use of it. Not sure about the other reports.

I was wondering if there are other MC merchants using ClickTracks and whether they have found it more useful than Google Analytics. Google is free but ClickTracks would cost us $99 a month.

If you are using ClickTracks:

1. how has it helped you
2. what reports do you use the most

Thanks. happy.gif

we're using clicktracks optimizer, probably gonna go up to the pro version. Find it much more useful than GA, for one, the numbers actually mean something!

The site overlay feature is worth its wait in gold, we use it to work out what products are getting the attention, from here we can decide how to stragically place things to get more sales.

I also find the Search Report useful, see what keywords are keeping visitors the longest, this has some influence over what products we purchase.

Shane,

Did you keep your GA account and continue collecting GA data or did you cancel/turn it off once you started using Clicktracks?

Thanks.

Hello,

Thanks for the insight to ClickTracks. I have been using Google Analytics and I think it has been missing some statistics.

I am going to try ClickTracks for a month and compare to see if there is a benefit to spending the $99 per month for ClickTracks.

Can you tell me how you were able to get data into ClickTracks since we don't ahve access to the Raw Logs?

thanks<

you have to sign up for their hosted solution. Once thats done, your provided with some javascript to add to your store, then download the 'Clicktracks Viewer' to view all your stats.

My Clicktracks is not showing information from Google or Yahoo ad accounts. Instead it is listing as our literal website name: 2678522076.monstercommercesites.com
Does anyone have any idea what is causing this? I have added the code per ClickTracks instructions and am receiving dollar amounts and hit stats...they just don't match up with the Google Ad accounts which all show zero.
Very confusing...
